Sebastian Vuye is a front-end developer specialising in building web applications in JavaScript (TypeScript) with React as a framework. He is an organised person with a problem-solving mentality, great attention to detail and a broad interest in front-end development. Previously, he worked as a web development consultant at Telenet, Colruyt and Yucopia. Currently, he works at Rombit as an Euricom consultant.

Sebastian enjoys working on front-end passion projects and contributing to front-end development in small organisations to learn new technologies in his spare time.

Currently, I work on the Euronav project at Rombit Studio.
  • Implementation of new features for the FAST application used by the Euronav fleet
    • Implementation of the alerting/notification system,
    • Rework the cargo operations system,
    • Implementation of telemetry data in complicated graphs
    • Implementation of a world map view showing vessels current positions
    • Implementation of voyage optimization dashboard where captains and performance teams can optimize routes from point A to B
    • Maintenance and improvements of the whole FAST application.
  • Using TypeScript and React combined with React Redux and Redux Saga for global state.
  • Using AntDesign as UI framework
  • I am working on the cloud and vessel version of the FAST application.
